The Northwest Suburban Integration School District (NWSISD) is seeking a student-centered Executive Director to lead our seven-district Joint Powers Collaborative. Founded in 2001, NWSISD provides essential professional learning, Magnet Schools of Choice, and college and career readiness programming aimed at closing achievement and opportunity gaps.
The Role The Executive Director provides strategic and operational leadership in the following areas: Program Oversight: Directing the NWSISD Integration Plan, the Magnet Schools program, and college/career readiness initiatives Collaboration: Serving as the primary liaison to seven member district Superintendents and the Minnesota Department of Education Achievement and Integration Program Team Leadership: Supervising a dedicated staff and managing the annual operating budget with fiscal responsibility
Qualifications Education: Master’s degree in Education Licensure: K-12 Teaching and K-12 Principal licenses required; Superintendent license preferred Experience: At least 5 years of related administrative leadership experience with an extensive background in multicultural education, equity, and diversity initiatives
Compensation & Benefits Salary: $134,500 – $144,500 (negotiable based on experience) Contract Days: 235 days per year Benefits: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, HSA & FSA, Retirement Plan
