| Mission Statement Future Educators Club works to promote interest in the field of education in middle and high school
students while incorporating racial integration, community service and
hands on experience.
A global community learning and growing together…
Teaching is a promising career option. Teachers sensitive to the diversity in our classrooms are needed now and in the future.
Future Educators Club (FEC) encourages high school students to pursue
post-secondary careers in education. It introduces students to the
teaching profession and allows them to focus on working with “urban
learners” in an urban, suburban and rural setting/environment. FEC helps students to gain a realistic
understanding of the education profession.
FEC also provides service opportunities and offers schools and communities a
chance to shape their own future. Future
Educators Clubs are run by individual schools; NWSISD coordinates
activities between the clubs. For information about individual Future
Educators Clubs please contact the school directly.
